Baltimore Ravens @ New York Jets
1 2 3 4 FINAL
BALTIMORE 7 14 0 3 24
NEW YORK 3 12 0 3 18
NEW YORK – The New York Jets (2-5) continued their San Diego Chargers-esque run of late collapses and near misses, falling 2-yards short of a victory in their 24-18 defeat at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens in MetLife Stadium.
A questionable 4th-and-2 leading to a Ravens pick-six in the 2nd quarter completely changed a game that saw the New York defense come up with 3 interceptions of their own while allowing only 283 total yards to the Ravens offense.
"It was a calculated risk that didn't work," Todd Bowles said. "Our o-line needs to wake their ***** up. We're paying $50 million a year for the best line in the league and our QB is getting two seconds per snap."
Sean Smith, with two of the afore-mentioned INTs kept the team in it, but the offense was never able to get back on track after the Bradford pick six and the team losing their most explosive playmaker when Braxton Miller left the game with a separated left shoulder.
"It hurts not being able to finish that game," Miller said. "I really think I could have helped the guys out."
New York will fly to Cleveland next week to square off against the hapless Browns.

Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins
1 2 3 4 FINAL
BUFFALO 0 21 7 7 35
MIAMI 7 7 0 0 14
MIAMI – The much-hyped affair between the Buffalo Bills (6-1, 2-1 AFC East) and the Miami Dolphins (6-1, 1-1) was settled during a 3-minute stretch late in the second quarter as the Bills ran away with a 35-14 statement win.
With his team leading 14-7 and in possession of the ball, rookie quarterback Jacoby Brissett double-clutched on a well-designed screen play while being chased by defensive MVP candidate Geno Atkins.
The Atkins pressure and hit caused Brissett to fumble the ball straight to the ever-aware Luke Kuechly who took it to the house to deadlock the score at 14 all.
"We knew it was going to come down to who made the most mistakes," Atkins said. "Both teams are very competitive and those turnovers always will make the difference."
A rattled Brissett lost another fumble on the following possession (before Todd Gurley gave the ball right back with a fumble of his own).
To put a stamp on his 2nd quarter to forget, Brissett then threw an ill-advised out in the direction of Clive Walford that was intercepted (leading to another Buffalo TD).
"That's all on me," Brissett said. "They disguised their coverages well and kept the pressure on us all day. I have to know when to take a sack or throw the ball away. I tip my hats to them."
Tyler Lockett was the offensive star of the day with 8-catches for 146 yards and a TD.
Amari Cooper added a long TD reception which served as a dagger to end the first half.
Miami will have their bye week to stew over their first loss of the season.
The Bills will head home to prepare for a showdown with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
