2019 3GML Positional Rankings - Quarterback

Each day over the next 11 days we will be ranking and taking a look at the positional strengths of each 3GML team.  Today we start with the quarterback position.

4. Miami Dolphins - Jacoby Brissett.  By far the weakest of the QBs in the AFC East, Brissett is going to get another chance to start in Miami after being their game manager in 2016.  He has been a backup the past 2 years and struggled to get on the field.  The Dolphins are hoping for this subpar quarterback to minimize mistakes and give them a chance to make a 2000 Ravens-like Super Bowl run.

3. New York Jets - Sam Darnold.  If you were building a team from scratch and wanted an exciting young QB to build around, Darnold would have to be at the top of your list.  The ceiling on this guy is very high and with a new offensive coordinator that can tap into his strengths, look for huge growth in year two for this youngster.  He would easily be number one or two in most other divisions, but he happens to reside in the deep AFC East.

2. New England Patriots - Andrew Luck.  How often do you see a Super Bowl winner move on from its quarterback the very next year?  Well that's exactly what the defending champs did.  They had an opportunity to get better at the position and brought in the very talented Luck.  The man can sling it and is a great leader on the field.  The only question here is, can he stay healthy?

1. Buffalo Bills - Aaron Rodgers.  The competition got tougher with Luck and Darnold both joining the division, but A-Rod is still the man.  His window is getting a little smaller, but Rodgers can make every throw on the field and remains the most physically gifted quarterback in the league.  He will have revenge on his mind after being denied a chance for his second Super Bowl with the Bills last season and no one wants to play Aaron with a chip on his shoulder.

We will be assigning cumulative points to these rankings to determine the best overall team in the 3GML.

Buffalo - 4
New England - 3
New York - 2
Miami - 1
