MIAMI - In a move that shows they are in it to win it, the Miami Dolphins sent safety Marcus Maye and a 1st round pick to New England to acquire former defensive player of the year Stephon Gilmore. The move may seem surprising to some as New England sent its best corner to a division opponent, but word was the Patriots didn’t want to extend Gilmore and the Dolphins offer “blew Bill [Belichick] away.”
Miami now fills the biggest hole on their roster and look poised to make a run at a title. In his first season back after a year away, EP is showing he’s playing for the plaque.
