2026 3GML Season - Week 4

Maye Runs Wild as Texans Beat Cowboys 21-13

HOUSTON — Apparently the solution to Houston's quarterback problems was to let Drake Maye become a running back.

Maye rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns, providing the difference in the Texans' 21-13 victory over Dallas. Houston has now won two straight following its disastrous 0-2 start, climbing back to 2-2.

After firing offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, the Texans have found new life under interim OC Dino Babers. Maye's development as a passer remains a question, but his legs gave Dallas plenty of answers it didn't like.

Packers Abandon Tank, Improve to 4-0 With 29-11 Win Over Buccaneers

TAMPA, Fla. — The tank is officially dead. Long live the playoff push.

Green Bay improved to 4-0 with a convincing 29-11 road victory over Tampa Bay, forcing GM SD to confront an unexpected reality: His rebuilding team might actually be a contender.

Malik Willis threw for 280 yards and a touchdown while adding 35 rushing yards, continuing to exceed expectations as the Packers' supposed bridge quarterback.

With the league's only undefeated record, Green Bay's front office is reportedly shifting its attention from accumulating 2027 draft picks to figuring out how to make a legitimate postseason run.

Somewhere, a meticulously organized 2027 draft board just got shoved into a desk drawer.

49ers Win Third Straight, Cruise Past Broncos 34-10

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The 49ers' Week 1 loss in Australia feels like a distant memory.

San Francisco dismantled Denver 34-10, winning its third consecutive game to improve to 3-1.

Jordan Love threw for 294 yards and a touchdown, adding 64 rushing yards and another score as the Broncos struggled to contain San Francisco's multidimensional offense.

After scoring 137 points over their last three games, the 49ers are beginning to resemble the offensive juggernaut that reached consecutive Super Bowls. The challenge remains proving they can finish the season as strongly as they've started this winning streak.

McCaffrey Powers Chargers Past Seahawks for First Win, 20-13

SEATTLE — The defending champions can finally exhale.

Los Angeles earned its first victory of the season with a 20-13 road win over Seattle, improving to 1-2-1 after a frustrating September.

Christian McCaffrey accounted for 127 total yards and two touchdowns, providing the offensive production the Chargers needed in a hard-fought victory.

After allowing 75 points in their first two games, the Chargers' defense held Seattle to just 13, offering an encouraging sign that last season's championship formula hasn't completely disappeared.

GM BD probably won't be planning another parade just yet.

But at least he can stop explaining why the defending Super Bowl champions haven't won a game.
