2016 Offensive Preview
Ground and pound worked to perfection during 2015 Super Bowl championship run. Moving Kelechi Osemele to the Redskins did not make a ton of sense unless Bashaud Breeland turns into a true #1 cornerback. Where is the scoring going to come from? Same question was asked a year ago and bland play-calling and stubborn willingness to stick to running game paid off. Is this possible in vastly improved AFC East?

2016 Projected Starters (Defense)
LE: Khalil Mack - 94
DT: Leonard Williams - 81
DT: Star Lotulelei - 79
RE: Courtney Upshaw - 78
LOLB: Reggie Ragland - 74
MLB: Bobby Wagner - 88
ROLB: Eric Kendricks - 76
CB1: Bashaud Breeland - 81
CB2: Kyle Fuller - 80
FS: Earl Thomas - 93
SS: Calvin Pryor - 83

2016 Defensive Preview
Hard hitting and gritty defensive unit will look to cause abundance of turnovers similar to 2015 campaign. With Khalil Mack continuing to apply relentless pressure, Earl Thomas can cover for the continued development of the Breeland/Fuller duo. Calvin Pryor and Reggie Ragland should have free reign to attack ball carriers and short crossing routes.

2016 Team Preview
Not sure if last year's game plan will cut it this year. Toughest schedule in NFL looms as team looks to avoid Super Bowl hangover. You can never bet against a former champion, but the ceiling looks to be no more than 10-wins (and even that would be a miracle). Team should start 2-4 with games against the Bills and Jets to follow (2-6 looks very realistic).

2016 Projection: 6-10, 4th AFC East

Looking Towards 2017
Ton of cap room to go after any/all big name free agents on the market while locking up core of team for Super Bowl run (behind Jacoby Brissett) in 2018.
